Postfix came into being when a poor neglected Raleigh Trail Rider -- a 1983 guess at what
a mountain bike should look like -- was liberated from a bike rack by campus police almost
three years after she appeared. Two gauges of 4130 CrMo steel and a beefy steer tube were
added; front-wheel traction and ergonomics were removed.
